We are reaching the end of the semester and this is the last post
(unless I do not approve the course), and the subject to be discussed is the
relationship with English, I assume that I am not an expert in this language, I
can read and write basics things but when it comes time to listen or speak it
even if I put all my effort what I understand or say is different from the
original meaning.
Before entering the university, English was one of the subjects that
caused me more fear, but once inside I realized that they were more fun than in
my school, I thought that the classes would be chairs of grammar or things like
that, but Instead they are interactive classes, with many exercise guides and
classes designed to write blogs like this.
Blogging I liked it, I consider it a great idea to help us express
ourselves in written form in English, also helps us to see what our classmates
think about the topics of each post. At first it was difficult for me, but
moving forward in the semester we can say "let go of the hand" and
ideas flow more quickly.
Nowadays English is fundamental, in my career is very important, books,
essays, publications are in English. Doing a self-assessment I consider that
although I pass this course I must continue studying English, maybe take a
course in summer or classes that fit my future schedule of classes, I want to
be able to converse in English fluently, which I consider my weakest point
regarding this language .
I feel that I made a change with respect to English, before I tried to
avoid books, websites, videos or other things that were in this language, but
now I try to understand and in case of not knowing a word I turn to a
dictionary or translator. Films and series I prefer to see them in their
original languages since when they are doubled to Spanish they do not
necessarily say the same thing.
That's it all, bye!
